What happens at the hospital after an accident?
In this instructional video, Bucks County personal injury attorney, Michael L. Saile, Jr., explains that you should go to the hospital to be evaluated after an auto accident. Auto accidents often cause neck and back injuries that may not cause immediate pain after the accident.
Although you may not feel initial pain, your personal injuries should be treated. At the hospital, a nurse or doctor will evaluate you. Then you may have to undergo x-rays and possibly a CAT-scan. You may be prescribed medications for pain and muscle relaxers. After you are treated, you will be given discharge instructions that will inform you about your injuries and what steps you should take as follow up care for your injuries.
