Bucks County Truck Accident Leaves 3 Injured

A Bucks County truck accident involving two vehicles, including a car, sends three people to local hospitals after the two vehicles collide at a busy intersection. The incident took place on Friday afternoon, February 3, 2012, in Warminster.

According to reports, a car and a tractor-trailer collided at the intersection of Bristol Road and Mearns Road in Warminster. The force of the impact left the car partially pinned underneath the truck as a result of the collision.

Rescue crews transported three victims from inside the car to local hospitals where they were treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Details concerning their conditions and their identities were not immediately made available.

It was unclear as to whether the truck driver was also injured in the crash. The truck driver’s identity and who the trucker was employed by were not initially made known. No other injuries were reported.

Commuters were inconvenienced for several hours as crews were forced to divert traffic in order to investigate and clean up the afternoon accident scene.

The two-vehicle Bucks County truck accident remains under investigation by local authorities as they determine what caused the two vehicles to collide or who may have been at fault.
