Who should I speak with after a Philadelphia or Bucks County auto accident ?

A:

At the scene of the accident:

-Do talk to the police officer investigating the Bucks County car accident.

-Do NOT talk to the other driver unless absolutely necessary or in the interest of safety
or first aid.

-If there are witnesses to the Philadelphia auto accident, you may attempt to get their
name address and phone number.

-Do talk to emergency services personnel and ambulance workers in seeking medical
treatment.

After you get home
:

-Call your family doctor to get an appointment within two days.

-Call an experienced Philadelphia or Bucks County injury lawyer to get prompt legal
advice.

-Do NOT speak with the other driver, if he or she attempts to telephone you.

-Do NOT speak with the other driver's auto insurance company (or his or her lawyer), if
you are contacted. Politely tell them:  "I have been advised not to speak with anyone
about the accident and my attorney will be contacting you shortly."

-If you have not promptly contacted a local Bucks County or Philadelphia injury lawyer
you should report the accident to your auto insurance company.
