A: After a car accident, it is not always necessary that you take an ambulance to the hospital. In fact many of our clients injured in Pennsylvania and New Jersey car accidents are embarrassed to take an ambulance to hospital. If you injure your head or you are experiencing pain immediately after an auto accident, we highly recommend taking the ambulance to the hospital. If you initially feel intense pain such as neck and back pain, chances are you have suffered a serious injury. Other times, pain and soreness caused by injuries from car accidents set in a couple hours after a car accident. Many of our clients have a family member take them to the hospital after an accident. Whether or not you went directly to the hospital in an ambulance, it is important to be evaluated by a doctor as soon as possible. If you skip the hospital, your family doctor may send you back to the hospital to obtain x-rays. It often takes a few days to get an appointment with your family doctor so we recommend getting to a hospital soon after a Bucks or Mercer County accident if you are injured.
